SGL is a reputed gemological laboratory that specializes in the certification of diamonds and gemstones. Besides having a presence in several Indian cities, SGL has labs worldwide. Every piece of diamond jewellery at Vedic Gems certified by SGL includes details like diamond weight, color, clarity, and the gross weight of the jewellery.

BIS HALLMARK (Bureau of Indian Standards)

BIS is an Indian hallmarking system for gold jewellery, introduced by the Indian government to ensure trust and reliability. Hallmarked jewellery includes engravings for the BIS logo, gold purity, assay centre, and jeweller’s identification mark. BIS hallmark centres are available across India.

IGI (International Gemological Institute)

IGI is a globally recognized gemological institute that certifies diamond and gemstone jewellery. IGI certificates provide complete details such as the number of diamonds, gold color, cut, clarity, weight, and more—ensuring authenticity and quality of your jewellery.

CGL (Cambay Gemmological Lab)

CGL is known for its precise inspection of both gemstones and complete jewellery pieces. Each CGL certificate includes the certifier's name, certificate number, gemstone/diamond properties (cut, shape, color, clarity, carat weight), gross weight, product SKU, and description.

PGI (Platinum Guild International)

PGI is the global authority on platinum jewellery certification. All platinum jewellery from Vedic Gems is accompanied by PGI’s Certificate of Authenticity and a jewellery care manual. The certificate includes the design number, jewellery description, platinum purity and weight, and a unique ID to track the piece.
